This is a current listing of burials in the cemeteries of Jefferson County, since the publication of "Tombstone
Hoppin". No burials are included for deaths after December 31, 1999. Has listings of all cemeteries currently in use in Jefferson County. The sources of this book which were researched were
tombstones, newspapers, plus old and new cemetery burial records. The history of the cemeteries includes the name of the previous owner of the land on which the cemetery was established, the date he had
purchased it, and who owned it prior to that time. Many of these parcels of land can be traced to the original warrant number, the date of survey, or which patent book contains the patent. This is all
"new" material, does not contain data from "Tombstone Hoppin", volumes 1 or 2. The book contains 256 pages of burial listings, plus everyname index, hard cover only, library-type
