Andrew and
Catharine Ohl
Andrew Ohl was born September 9, 1800 and died July 2, 1876, at age of 75 years 9 months and 23 days.
He was a son of Henry Ohl, of Centre County, now Clinton County, PA. In the deed of Andrew Ohl, when he purchased his property from the Duncan estate in 1838, he listed his residence as Centre County, PA.
In 1833, he married Catharine Moyer, daughter of Gideon Moyer of Schuylkill County, PA. Catharine was
born February 28, 1801, and died July 3, 1881. She as 80 years, 4 months, and 4 days old. They are buried in the St. John's Cemetery (also known as the Windy Hill Cemetery) in Rose Township, Jefferson County,
on land that was once part of the Ohl family homestead. Both Andrew and Catharine were of German ancestry.
