This was taken in Butler County, Petrolia, PA while standing in Mildred Vasbinder's front yard. The house in the background belonged to Paul and Lena Lucas.
The partially seen house behind Lucas's house belonged to Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler. None are there today, as Kopper's bought the property and tore them down.
The house was located on State Route 268, also known as Argyle Street. Picture was probably taken
about 1930 to 1955. In 1955 the cement work going on in the picture was completed.
These people must have know Mildred Vasbinder or one of her 3 daughters, Lena, Norma Jean
or Vonnie (Bonnie). They may be related to surnames: Lucas, Morrow, Daubenspeck, Paden, Needs, Vasbinder, Hottle, Edwards, Buzzard (and many other surnames) or they may just be friends.
The girl in the picture looks familiar but I can't put a name on her.She would be much younger in
this picture than when I would have seen her, If I did.
If I had to guess, unlikely Roy Bowser and Virginia Graham?????
